Current Workshop Offerings
Cob Pizza-Oven Workshop
This free event is generally held in one to two-day sessions at hosting locations. The SSC team ethically harvests materials beforehand on-site and across multiple locations in the surrounding areas. This workshop is in-person and interactive. It includes:
- Learning the basics of mixing cob
- Participating in the construction of a cob pizza-oven
- Free pizza dinner prepared by all of us, in a cob oven!!
This free event is held in one-day sessions. The SSC team harvests standing dead or removable lumber and incorporates living trees in the design when possible. This workshop is in-person and interactive. It includes:
- Learning the basics of twine and wood lash construction
- Participating in the construction of a simple A-frame structure
